Living Your Best Life With the Ford Transit

What do you know about the Ford Transit? Aside from people driving them around for the occasional delivery, there really isn’t much else you can do with them, right? Wrong.

The possibilities of what you can do with the Ford Transit is really limited to your imagination, and for adventurers like Teri Lou Dantzler, that meant a whole lot more than just a  vehicle to take things from point A to point B—she has completely embraced the “camper-vanning” lifestyle.

Back in the 1960s, living in vans was mostly a surfer dude thing. In 2018, this practice is expanding to women like Dantzler whose livelihoods take them on the road. A landscape photographer by profession, she can spend the majority of her time on the road trying to capture some of nature’s most beautiful moments. But life on the road doesn’t always seem glamorous. With the Ford Transit and Transit Connect, however, it can at least be more comfortable.

For Rebecca Gross, a former Air Force captain and avid road cyclist, it’s very productive to be one with the road. Eight months out of the year, Gross depends on her Transit to get her from race to race. While Dantzler has completely customized her Transit for living on the road, Gross uses hers to transport her and her bikes. The professional mountain biker knows a thing or two about durable vehicles and claims there is no better van to get her where she needs to go.

For both Dantzler and Gross, it is the extensive Ford dealer network across the country that keeps them on the road. With over 3,200 dealer locations and 675 commercial vehicle centers in the United States, Ford Transit owners enjoy significantly more access to service and maintenance compared to Mercedes-Benz Sprinter enthusiasts.

Never worry about any adventure getting cut short because of a flat or a bump in the road here or there. With the Ford Transit, you not only get a reliable van that is an empty shell for what you need it to be but also you get the support of America’s most trusted car brand. So if you’re looking to jump on the van lifestyle, let’s start you out in one of our Ford Transits. Plus we can help get you to an outfitter to customize it to be whatever you need. February Is Going to Be BYU Men's Basketball's Month to Shine

While it should be noted that BYU incurred its first two-game losing streak after they lost to Gonzaga Saturday night, they are still a force to be reckoned with. Duo Elijah Bryant and Yoeli Childs are second and third, respectively, in West Coast Conference scoring. The team played well against Gonzaga, putting on a completely different show than the previous week’s loss to Loyola Marymount. Childs chalked up 14 points and collected 11 rebounds. Bryant didn’t fair so well, going 1 of 11 and 0 of 8 from 3-point range. BYU’s loss to Gonzaga put them on the upswing: It was a peek into how well they could play in February. They’re now in a positon similar to many previous seasons, fighting for a potential spot in the big dance.

Players to Watch

Bryant did have poor performance against Gonzaga. Putting that aside, he plays a good game of basketball and is doing consistently well this season. The Cougars will rely on him heavily in February.

Right on the heels of Bryant’s stellar season is Childs’ hard work and scoring abilities. It would be cool to see him be a bit more physical to finish out the season (can someone say charges?), while continuing to protect the rim.

Seems like eyes are always on TJ Haws. Fans are critical of him and often compare his high school career to his collegiate career. In recent weeks, he has stepped up his game, and he’s going to have to continue to step it up if he has any hopes of making it to March.

Then there’s Jahshire Hardnett; he’s as reliable as they come and often overlooked. Hardnett runs a tight ship on offense—he doesn’t really take chances—but he’s almost always taking and making reliable shots and passes.
